The Role Manager module of Elementor is a powerful tool that allows for managing user permissions on a WordPress site.
With this module, administrators can define specific roles for different users, enabling them to access only the features necessary for their contributions. This enhances the site’s security by limiting the actions each user can take while facilitating collaboration among team members.
The EAC plugin, through its various components, uses the user role rights defined in the Role Manager module.
Manage what your users can edit
To access the module from the dashboard, select the Elementor/Role Manager menu.
Here you’ll find all the roles defined in WordPress.
For security reasons, we recommend excluding all roles except the Editor role. For each role you must activate the No access to editor option.
By using them, you can ensure that no accidental modification or deletion of sensitive elements will occur.
This is why the actions Clone, Create, Trash, Modify with Elementor for header/footer templates created with the builder will not be visible to all roles except the Editor and of course Admin.

Restrict publication modifications to content only
EAC adds a new option for role management: Access to edit content only.
When activated, this option limits modifications to publications by restricting access to content only. No modification of container and widget styles, add widgets or any other features that could modify the look of your site.
To activate this option, from the dashboard select the EAC components plugin settings page, Features tab and activate the Content role manager option.

Allow uploading of JSON files
By enabling this option Enable the option to upload JSON files, you allow users with this role to add JSON files to the media library.
You and these users should consider the origin of the JSON file to avoid any security risks.
Now this option is necessary for Lottie animation and Openstreetmap components especially to import a JSON file through its remote URL.
